The International Ethics Standards Coalition In January, a coalition of more than 60 professional organisations announced its formation. They announced in 2016 that they have teamed up to create the first global ethics standard for the built environment. The coalition has launched a global ethics poll for persons working in the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors. By reasserting the role of ethics and defining and implementing a set of agreed international norms, greater transparency and consistency will be developed in the global property market. 63 professional bodies, associations, and standards-setting organisations from Russia, China, France, the United States, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Canada, and the United Kingdom make up the International Ethics Standards Coalition (IES).
